Oh Jules…that green will be perfect on you! I’ve actually been eying that “nettles” colorway of yours!
Hi Melly…what about a knit-along with the Nettles for a Ramona? 🙂 We’d have matching cardigans!!!!

That is the most perfect baby milo ever; the perfect shade of blue and little sheep placement !

I love your Nettle green yarn, and that Stella pixie hat is adorable! Thanks for the link to the magazine, I really like Carrie’s patterns. Thos little leaf and flower dolls are pretty cute. I am going to have some birthday crafting this month too with the postal strike! No stores here but my little guy mostly just wants to hang out with family and have a bonfire anyway!
Yes to Carrie’s patterns…I had no idea about her magazine…Is it a popular thing out there? I am so inspired by so much in there. Simple birthdays are the best, aren’t they? We have 2 in the next week! Busy times! Happy birthing day to you, Shona!

All those cherries! Your milo is adorable. My latest was just striped but I love that sheep that landed on yours.
My first batch of your granola came out of the oven. The aroma is filling my kitchen. As soon as it cools, I delivering a surprise package to one of my BFF’s who was recently diagnosed as adult-onset juvenile diabetic. This is going to make her day! thank you again for sharing the recipe.
Thank you, Suzanne. I like the idea of a striped milo…maybe I’ll try that next? I am so curious how your friend likes the granola…we found it to be a little of an acquired taste, but now, we love it a lot. Please let me know…I can also recommend a great pinterest page devoted to low carb meals…Typeonegrit on pinterest. I’m so glad you reached out about your friend’s condition.

Jules, she loved it! I packed up almost the whole batch but left a cup home for my family to try. It was so well received by her that when her family bounded up for a sample, she indulged them but then hugged the container to her chest in a typical “it’s mine” gesture. When my husband came home, I asked him to do a blind taste test. He went back for more and alas, the granola disappeared down to the last crumb.
I will be sure to check out that Pinterest board. Thank you so much. It was such a nice feeling to gift my friend a treat that made her feel normal.
Dear Suzanne…you are truly a gem of a friend for making her this kind of food!!!! Honestly, it can be a really big struggle to find that kind of support. Big hugs to you for having such a generous, kind heart!
