A whole seven months has passed since I sat down at my keyboard and opened up my blog. This is the longest absence from this space in the nearly eight years I have been blogging. I think perhaps the days of journalling on-line have been replaced by the much more instant gratification of Instagram…a venue I love so much for many reasons. But it isn’t blogging. And I’d like to continue as I am able in an attempt to create a visual/written legacy of my children’s childhood which I hope to one day privately publish for them.
In order to catch up over these last several months, I have compiled some favourite photos since last summer 2017.
beach days at our favourite watering hole on the river
a new Raggedy Ann doll from a lovely friend after the puppy ate Sunshine’s old Raggedy
best friends….and just another Monday morning of homeschool…
a family trip with our homeschool group to a pioneer village
a photo from the Taproot magazine article I wrote about lavender wands
a new to us swimming pool we rescued from the dump
More photos to follow tomorrow from the last half of 2017.
